What is Akron DSA
Akron DSA is a chapter of organizers, tenants, workers, and neighbors who believe a better Akron is possible, and that we have to build it ourselves, together, rather than wait for it to be handed down to us.
From tenant organizing to electoral work to mutual aid, our members show up where the need is greatest. We canvass, we testify, we knock doors, and we build the relationships that turn a neighborhood into a movement.
Akron DSA is the largest socialist organization in Summit County with over 200 members! Our mission is to fight oligarchy, capitalism, and bring about a better future for everybody. Come join the fun Comrade!
